A game joystick 100 being operated by optical finger navigator includes at least one detective control unit 30 and an operation interface 40 located over the detective control unit 30. The detective control unit 30 emits light to the bottom of the operation interface and captures fingerprint information through the action of the light while moving a finger on the operation interface. The fingerprint information is converted into operation commands by the detective control unit. Fingerprint information of a user may be stored and used to set personal game habits/preferences of a user. A mechanical interface 41 is provided which can be rotated clockwise or anticlockwise by a finger where the rotation angle is detected by a photo reflector 315. Keys 316 maybe located under the mechanical interface capable of being pressed to realise more functions. A push switch 32 which is actuated by pressing down through hole 42 to provide another operation mode. |
