<p>The measuring device comprises a gas lance (3) through which protective gas is introduced into a to-be-sealed package (2), an indicator (4), a light guide (5), and an evaluation unit (6). The indicator is made of fluorescent material e.g. polymer material and is arranged at an end of the light guide and the to-be-sealed package. The evaluation unit is arranged for determining the concentration of gas, by analyzing the visual signal sent by the indicator through the light guide. An independent claim is included for a measuring method of tubular bag packaging machine.</p> |
