The invented process for producing metakaolin by mechanical way is characterized by grinding kaolinite or kaolinitic clay to obtain an amorphous product of delaminated and dehydroxylated kaolin confirmed by the absence of crystal lattice using the X-ray diffraction method without necessity of heat treatment.
