<p>The device has a conveying device (1) with transporting grippers (7) for holding printed products (6) at fixing edges (10), and an opening assembly (2) arranged below the conveying device for opening the products. The opening assembly has a gas guiding unit (5) for producing gas stream for fluffing sheets of the products in free edge areas (24). The assembly has an opening element inserted into fluffed free edge areas, and an opening channel (14) is rotated around an axis of rotation. The channel guides the free edge areas, and the gas stream acts on the free edge areas in the channel. An independent claim is also included for a method for opening printed products.</p> |
