The present invention relates to a current interrupt device. More particularly, the present invention relates to a current interrupt device which safely prevents the overcharge of a battery which is the most important component of an electric vehicle and a hybrid vehicle using a thermal expansion pad, thereby improving fail safety greatly. According to the present invention, a current is interrupted by the operation of a current interrupt device regardless of a pressure at a constant temperature by using a temperature generated at overcharge in order to correct different pressures according to cell characteristics. |
