<p>The present invention relates to a rotor for a vane pump and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, a plurality of slots are radially formed on the rotor for a vane pump, which is in the shape of a disk. The rotor includes 20-70 wt% of pig iron, 0.2-0.5 wt% of Cu, 0.1-0.4 wt% of Fe, and the remainder consisting of scraps and waste steel. The rotor for a vane pump is made of nodular graphite cast iron having austenite tissue in which nodular graphite is precipitated.</p> |
