The present invention relates to a vital signal measuring sensor and a measuring method thereof and, more particularly, to a respiration or heartbeat signal measuring sensor and a measuring method thereof. According to an embodiment, the present invention includes a resonator which changes input impedance by corresponding to the vital signal; a phase locked loop which feeds back a loop control voltage which is a voltage in proportion to a phase difference with a preset reference frequency by receiving an oscillation frequency which is shifted by the change of the input impedance of the resonator; a voltage controlled oscillator which outputs the oscillation frequency within a preset frequency range by changing the capacitance of L-C resonance according to the loop control voltage which is fed back; and a signal processor which outputs the loop control voltage as the respiration signal and the heartbeat signal.
