摘要 PURPOSE: A vehicle controller using lateral load of a wheel and a method thereof is provided to enable quick control compare previous vehicle posture controller by controlling posture of a vehicle using lateral load measured from a lateral load sensor of the wheel and to reduce signal treating process and cost using a mono sensor. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle controller using lateral load of a wheel comprises a lateral load measuring part of a wheel which measures lateral load of each wheel; an operator part (200) which calculates a side slip angle about front and a rear wheels and a side slip angle difference between the front and rear wheels; a judge part (300) which maintains posture of vehicle deciding whether to make vehicle posture control and/or steering; and a brake pressure output part (400) which sends out brake pressure with corresponding wheels according to excessive steering or insufficient steering. The wheel lateral load measuring part is a load sensor which measures wheel load. The operator part calculates the side slip angle about the front wheels and the rear wheels calculating an average value of two front wheels measured through the wheel lateral load measuring part and an average value of two rear wheels and calculates the side slip angle difference between the front wheels and the rear wheels.
