The apparatus has a memory storing questions from which it generates different subsets of questions for presentation to the user via a user interface, such that a survey of 30 questions may be broken down into only 2 or 3 per customer. The apparatus collects user input including address information, e.g. a mobile number or email address, and responses to the questions. Based on the user input targeted communications, in particular marketing, are made to the users mobile phone 3. For example, a discount voucher for a nearby café may be sent. The user information, information regarding the users purchase, information of the predefined location and further pre-stored information may be processed to generate an analysis of the user and to communicate further information, e.g. marketing, to a users mobile phone based on the processing and the collected address information. |
