<p>The present invention relating to a non-contact communications device comprises a field strength detecting circuit designed to detect the strength of a field generated from an antenna; a card circuit which distinguishes signals received from the antenna in a receiving range of a card mode; a processing unit designed to process the distinguished signal; and a reader circuit designed to transmit data provided by the processing unit through the antenna in a sending range of the card mode. The output power of the reader circuit is adjusted by the detected field strength.</p>
