The present invention relates to a method of measuring a rotor displacement angle, and more specifically, to a method of measuring a rotor displacement angle (δ) of a synchronous generator (2) electrically connected to a power supply network (1) having a rotor (3). Provided is at least one rotation speed measuring device (4) for transferring at least one rotation speed signal (5) to an estimation unit (6) during rotation of the rotor (3), especially, during each rotation of the rotor (3). Provided is a frequency measuring device (7) for transferring a frequency signal (10) to the estimation unit (6) during each cycle time (τ) of a voltage signal (9) of the power supply network (1). The time (T) between the transfer of the rotation speed signal (5) and the transfer of the frequency signal (10) is measured by the estimation unit (6), and the rotor displacement angle (δ) is inferred according to the measured time (T). The measured time (T) is stored as the loadless time (T_L) in the estimation unit (6) without loading in respect to the synchronous generator (2) after the synchronous generator (2), with the power supply network (1), is synchronized for correcting the method. Moreover, the differential time (T_D) is formed by subtracting the loadless time (T_L) from the measured time (T) for measuring the rotor displacement angle (δ), and the rotor displacement angle (δ) is inferred according to the differential time (T_D). |
