PURPOSE: A method for treating a surface of a magnesium sheet with excellent corrosion resistance and a surface-treated magnesium sheet produced through the same are provided to prevent the surface damage and decomposition of magnesium materials and a magnesium oxide layer. CONSTITUTION: A method for treating a surface of a magnesium sheet with excellent corrosion resistance is as follows. The magnesium sheet is degreased by an alkali solution or ammonia water. A silicone precursor sol gel composition includes silicon precursor, alcohol, and acid catalyst. A silicone coating layer is formed in the degreased magnesium sheet. |
