The present invention is to provide an apparatus and a method for routing flows considering an available bandwidth in a wireless mesh network environment which adopt flow-based routing in the wireless mesh network to increase a usage rate of an available link and add the available bandwidth to a standard used during routing to uniformly use overall network resources, thereby improving efficiency of the wireless mesh network. The apparatus according to the present invention comprises: two and more wireless mesh routers which establish a wireless mesh network between them and route packets arrived from an application through the flows to deliver the packets to a destination router; and a central control unit which, for a flow without routing information, delivers routing information, which is generated by adopting the available bandwidth based on the information collected from the wireless mesh routers, to the wireless mesh routers. |
