The present invention relates to a novel use of ascorbyl palmitate and ascorbyl stearate, which are fat-soluble types of vitamin C, as a slip modifier for tablets and, more specifically, a slip modifier composition containing the ascorbyl palmitate and ascorbyl stearate for tablet type organic processed foods, and tablets containing the composition as the slip modifier. According to the present invention, the ascorbyl palmitate and ascorbyl stearate, derivatives of vitamin C, conventionally have been used as an antioxidant, but they improve the flow of powder and reduce a friction with a tablet punch and a die n case of being using for the tablets, thereby being useful as the slip modifier. |
