Provided is an electromagnetic stirring roll which stirs un-solidified molten steel of a slab. The electromagnetic stirring roll includes: a plurality of unit sleeves which contact the slab and are provided to be able to rotate; and an EMS means provided to the inside of the unit sleeves. The electromagnetic stirring roll has a multiply divided structure of the sleeves. A center side bearing element arranged between the unit sleeves is provided to the inside of the unit sleeve so as to prevent the slab from bulging by reducing an area of the sleeve which does not contact the slab. According to the present invention, the electromagnetic stirring roll, which increases quality of the inside of the slab, is formed to have the multiply divided structure so as to prevent deformation and breakage of the roll. Meanwhile, the bearing element reduces the area of the sleeve which does not contact the slab, and thus reduces the width of bulging generated. Therefore, the electromagnetic stirring roll prevents generation of inner cracks of the slab, and thus increases quality of the slab. |
