System and method for analysing the energy consumption of electrical consumers in a network

The total current, voltage and phase shift of consumer network (11) are sampled with sampling rate of less than 5 Hz. The sampled measured data is transmitted to a load recognition unit (32) to determine individual loads accordingly. The temporal regularities of individual loads are determined by spectral analysis of measured data. Separate and joint load models for individual loads are generated by modelling individual phenomena in the measured data by classifiers, and energy consumption in consumer network is visualized. An independent claim is included for system for analyzing and displaying energy consumption of electric loads.
