The cabinet has a functional assembly fixed onto an inner frame and comprising functional units (20) with mounting plates to receive electric units. The plates are fixed on a fixing upright and cross-piece of the frame in a contiguous manner to form a separating partition (P) delineating spaces (E1, E2) toward front and rear parts. Each plate includes an opening. The assembly includes a support independently fixed on the upright or cross-piece and a connector arranged on the support. The support is positioned on the upright or cross-piece to enable the connector to pass through the opening.
