A signal modulation method based on orthogonal frequency division multiple, includes: determines the base band frequency range according to the base band code chip rate (S10); determines the N frequency range subsets within the base band frequency range, the N is natural number (S20); selects n frequency range subsets in N frequency range subsets, in which 1‰ n‰ N, and generates the base band signal whose ‖ frequency range is limited in n frequency range subsets (S30); modulates the generated base band signal to the carrier (S40). Correspondingly, a signal modulation apparatus based on orthogonal frequency division multiple is provided. The present invention can communicate based on the different transmission bandwidth when the terminal and the base station support one set of parameters. |
