Disclosed is a heat pipe-type heat dissipating device which is disposed close to a heat source to outwardly radiate heat through repeated evaporation and condensation processes of a working fluid, and which includes a cylindrical vacuum container having a space therein; a wick having a first wick formed on the whole bottom surface and a portion of a side surface, among the inner surfaces of the vacuum container, and a second wick disposed inside the first wick in the inner space of the vacuum container; a connecting member having a donut-shaped hanging portion disposed between the first and second wicks in the inner space of the vacuum container and having a plurality of first holes formed along the top surface, and a funnel portion extending downwardly from the hanging portion to receive the second wick and having a second hole formed at the center of the bottom surface; and a working fluid filled in the bottom surface in the vacuum container provided with the first wick up to a height which does not come into contact with the bottom surface of the funnel of the connecting member. When the working fluid is heated by the heat source, the heated working fluid is evaporated in the space between the first wick and the connecting member, and is moved upwardly by the pressure difference through the first holes, so that the heat is radiated from the top surface in the inner space of the vacuum container to the outside of the vacuum container. Then, the working fluid is condensed to flow downwardly along the second wick in a liquid state, and is returned to its original position through the second hole of the funnel portion. |
