The present invention relates to a cam ring of a vane pump and a manufacturing method thereof. According to an aspect of the present invention, the cam ring is made of a material, which includes 3.0-3.5 of C, 2.0-2.5 wt% of Si, 0.5-1.0 wt% of Mn, 0.5-1.0 wt% of Cr, 0.2-0.5 wt% of Cu, 0.1-0.3 wt% of P, 0.02-0.06 wt% of B, 0.06-0.1 wt% of S, less than 0.04 wt% of Ti, and the remainder consisting of Fe and inevitable impurities. The cam ring for a vane pump has tempered martensite base tissue including carbides. |
