[Problem] Embodiments of the present invention make it an object to provide a protection and control system, a protection and control device, and a merging unit which can suppress the hardware amount in the protection and control system to which a process bus is applied. [Solving Means] A protection and control system in the embodiments of the present invention includes a merging unit which digitally converts electric variables to output as electric variable information, and a plurality of protection and control devices each of which outputs main trip information when that a system fault occurs in a zone to be protected is judged based on the electric variable information and a relay characteristic. In addition, when the merging unit judges that the system fault occurs in the zone to be protected based on the electric variable information and a plurality of the relay characteristics which are predetermined as respective fault detection relays of the protection and control devices, the merging unit holds FD trip information, and judges whether or not to open a circuit breaker or a switch based on the FD trip information and the main trip information. |
