Selection filter assembly for an electronic receiver and selection filtering method

The arrangement has a frequency modulation selection filter (1) filtering frequency modulated receiving signals (6) received on a receiver channel. A flanking channel detector (4) detects a disturbance of the receiving signals of adjacent frequency ranges. The flanking channel detector reduces band width of the selection filter during the occurrence of the disturbance of the receiving signals. A detecting unit (3) is equipped in such a manner that a response sensitivity of the channel detector is extended when a modulation signal is smaller in the receiver channel. An independent claim is also included for a method for selection filtering a received signal of an electronic receiver.
