The invention pertains to a composite for producing of an antiballistic article, the composite comprising at least two fabric layers, comprising high tensile strength fibers and at least one foil of polyvinylbutyral, which foil of polyvinylbutyral exhibits a thickness between 30 and 70 μm. Another object of the invention is an antiballistic article, which is obtained from the composite.
