The present invention relates to an energy harvesting system for a vessel, which is capable of obtaining electric energy from vibration energy generated in a vibration structure installed in the vessel, and charging the obtained electric energy to be used. The energy harvesting system for the vessel comprises: a piezoelectric element which is installed in a seat to fix a vibration structure installed in a vessel to a deck and which generates electric energy from vibration energy generated in the vibration structure; a voltage generating unit to convert the electric energy generated by the piezoelectric element to an alternating current voltage; a rectifying unit to rectify the alternating current voltage outputted from the voltage generating unit to generate a direct current voltage; and a charging unit to receive the direct current voltage outputted from the rectifying unit to charge a battery. The system of the present invention converts, to the electric energy, the vibration energy generated in the vibration structure installed in the vessel, thereby allowing the electric energy to be used as a useful energy source for a vessel. |
