The method involves determining the current traveling direction of the onboard unit (7) and transmitting the heading information indicating the current traveling direction to the radio beacon (1). A judgment is performed to check whether the traveling direction indicated in the traveling direction information is within predetermined limit. The radio communication with the onboard unit is performed when traveling direction indicated in the traveling direction information is within predetermined limit.
