According to an embodiment of the present invention, provided is a liquid crystal display device. A liquid panel and a backlight unit of the liquid crystal display device are joined by an attaching member having an upper part in the shape of a protrusion so as to prevent wrinkles of an optical sheet caused by heat generated in a light source of the backlight unit. A thin film transistor substrate in the liquid crystal panel is prevented from being bent by deformation of the optical sheet. Therefore, the liquid crystal display device displays images having increased quality.
