<p>A method and an apparatus for providing a social network service are provided. According to the present invention, the method for providing a social network service comprises the steps of: (a) setting an access threshold value for a specific content of a content owner, and weights for one or more communities which the content owner joins as a member; (b) extracting a community, which a content requester joins as a member, from the communities and calculating activity values of the content requester for the extracted communities, when a request for the specific content is received from the content requester; (c) calculating a reputation value for the content requester using one or more of the number of the extracted communities, the weights set to the extracted communities, and the calculated activity values; and (d) giving access right to the specific content to the content requester, according to the result of the comparison between the calculated reputation value and the set access threshold value.</p> |
