METHOD FOR PURIFYING A GAS MIXTURE CONTAINING ACID GASES

The invention relates to a method for processing a gaseous mixture containing acidic gases, that comprises: contacting (2) the gaseous mixture with an absorbent solution (33) for obtaining a de-acidified gaseous mixture (3) and an absorbent solution (4) charged with acidic gases; and regenerating the absorbent solution charged with acidic gases, the regeneration comprising the following steps: passing the absorbent solution in a first regenerator (11) at a first pressure; passing the absorbent solution in a second regenerator (21) at a second pressure lower than the first pressure; and compressing the gases from the second regenerator and recycling the gases thus compressed towards the first regenerator; after the passage in the second regenerator, passing the absorbent solution in a third regenerator (31) at a third pressure lower than the second pressure; and compressing the gases from the third regenerator and recycling the gases thus compressed towards the second regenerator; wherein a portion at least of the gases from the second and/or third regenerator is collected in order to provide a gaseous mixture having a high hydrogen sulphide (37) content while at least a portion of the gases from the first regenerator is collected in order to provide a gaseous mixture having a high carbon dioxide (15) content. The invention also relates to equipment for realising said method.
