A battery cooling system for cars is provided to realize a compact structure, to improve the efficiency of a battery by controlling the temperature of the battery adequately, and to reduce power consumption and noise generation. A battery cooling system for cooling a battery(110) installed in a car trunk room comprises: a battery heat exchange unit(115) mounted the battery and having a flow path through which cooling water circulates; a heat exchanger(120) linked to the battery heat exchange unit by way of a circulation pipe(135) and performing heat exchange between the cooling water circulating through the circulation pipe and the car indoor air; a cooling water circulation unit(130) installed on the circulation pipe for circulating the cooling water between the heat exchanger and the battery heat exchange unit; and a blower(140) installed at one side of the heat exchanger and sucking the car indoor air compulsively into the heat exchanger. |
