The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for preventing a sudden unintended acceleration of a vehicle and, more particularly, to an apparatus and a method for preventing a sudden unintended acceleration of a vehicle so as to prevent a sudden unintended acceleration accident of the vehicle. The apparatus for preventing the sudden unintended acceleration of the vehicle according to the present invention includes: an input terminal unit to which an input voltage is inputted from a power supply unit of the vehicle; a signal conversion unit which converts the input voltage inputted by the input terminal unit into a digital voltage; a control unit which sets the size of an output voltage in advance according to output time of the digital voltage converted by the signal conversion unit, and allows the size of the output voltage to vary according to the output time; and an output terminal unit which outputs an output voltage corresponding in size to the output pressure set in advance by the control unit. |
