<p>[PROBLEMS TO BE SOLVED] TO CAUSE NO BLOCKING DURING PRE-EXPANSION, TO ACHIEVE AN EXCELLENT FLUIDITY OF EXPANDED PARTICLES, TO PREVENT SEPARATION OF COATED MEDICAL AGENTS, TO ACHIEVE GOOD FUSION, AND TO CAUSE NO OIL LEAKAGE. [MEANS FOR SOLVING THE PROBLEMS] EXPANDABLE STYRENE RESIN PARTICLES ARE OBTAINED BY IMPREGNATING STYRENE RESIN PARTICLES WITH A BLOWING AGENT, WHEREIN SURFACES OF THE RESIN PARTICLES ARE COATED WITH A COMPOSITION, THE COMPOSITION COMPRISES POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL A HAVING A MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF LESS THAN 400, 0.003 TO 0.04 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF FATTY TRIGLYCERIDE RELATIVE TO 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF THE RESIN PARTICLES, 0.2 TO 0.8 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF FATTY METAL SALT RELATIVE TO 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF THE RESIN PARTICLES, AND POLYETHYLENE GLYCOL B HAVING A MOLECULAR WEIGHT OF LESS THAN 400, WHICH COAT THE SURFACES OF THE RESIN PARTICLES AND THE POLYETHYLENE GLYCOLS A AND B ARE CONTAINED IN AN AMOUNT OF 0.02 TO 0.08 PARTS BY WEIGHT RELATIVE TO 100 PARTS BY WEIGHT OF THE RESIN PARTICLES AND ITS COATING IS PERFORMED IN TWO SEPARATE STEPS.</p> |
