The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing graphene oxide using waste graphite, which specifically, comprises the steps of sintering powder including graphite and metal; separating waste graphite after the sintered powder is processed with acidification and electrolysis; processing the waste graphite with acidification; and obtaining graphene oxide by making the waste graphite processed with acidification react with an oxidizing agent.
