The present invention relates to a method and a device for generating pronunciation sequences of proper nouns in B language to recognize the proper nouns in B language. The method according to the present invention for generating pronunciation sequences of proper nouns in B language includes the steps of: obtaining the proper nouns in B language through automatically translating words in A language; generating B language pronunciation sequences corresponding to the proper nouns in B language through grapheme to phoneme (G2P) for the proper nouns in B language; and converting the B language pronunciation sequences to A language pronunciation sequences through mapping the B language pronunciation sequences onto A language phonemes.
