The present invention relates to a method for transform coding or decoding of a digital audio signal using analysis (ha) or synthesis (hs) weighting windows applied to frames of samples. The method comprises irregular sampling (E10) of an initial window provided for a transform with a given initial size N, in order to apply a secondary transform with a size M other than N. The invention also relates to a device suitable for implementing the above method. |
