The objective of the invention is to allow signals including control information to be efficiently transmitted and received between a base station apparatus and a terminal apparatus. Included are: a reception unit that receives information indicating a configuration of EPDCCH for subframes dedicated to the downlink and also receives information indicating a configuration of EPDCCH for subframes for which the uplink and downlink can be switched; a radio resource control unit that establishes, on the basis of the information received by the reception unit, the configuration of EPDCCH for subframes dedicated to the downlink and the configuration of EPDCCH for subframes for which the uplink and downlink can be switched; and a control unit that controls, on the basis of the configurations of EPDCCH established by the radio resource control unit, a decoding process of EPDCCH in the subframes dedicated to the downlink and a decoding process of EPDCCH in the subframes for which the uplink and downlink can be switched. |
