A busbar in this busbar unit has the following: a main body that extends in the circumferential direction of a stator such that the thickness direction of said main body is the same as the axial direction of the stator; an extending part that extends from the main body in the radial direction of the stator; and a coil connection part that is provided at the tip of the extending part and is connected to the end of a coil winding. The extending part is provided with a bracing part, each side of which in the thickness direction of the main body has a surface that is perpendicular to the axial direction of the stator. When the busbar is insert-molded together with an insulating resin, the bracing part is clamped and thereby supported by the mold used to insert-mold the busbar.
