An embodiment of the present invention relates to an implementation method and a system of a three-dimensional free-form lens for uniformly illuminating a rectangular area with high efficiency. According to the present invention, the implementation method may include the steps of setting a condition of illumination; designing an optimized cross section form of the lens with respect to each of the horizontal direction and the vertical direction of the surface of the illumination while satisfying the condition of the illumination; and joining the designed cross section of the lens. In the step of designing the optimized cross section form of the lens, an actual width of the illumination is designed to be as large as predetermined width.
