PURPOSE: Antibiotic coprisin is provided to be able to be usefully used as antibiotics and antiphlogistics safe to the human body as the antibiotic coprisin isolated from Copris tripartitus larva has little cytotoxicity. CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition comprises the peptide of Sequence number 1 as an active ingredient. The composition has no cytotoxicity to the red blood cell of human or the mammalia normal cell. An antibacterial composition to microorganism includes the peptide of Sequence number 1 as an active ingredient. The microorganism is Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria or a strain with antibiotic tolerance. The Gram-positive bacteria is B. subtilis, S. aureus, or S. epidermidis, and the Gram-negative bacteria is E. coli, P. aeruginosa or S. typhimurium. The strain with antibiotic tolerance is vancomycin resistant staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), multi-drug resistant S. typhimurium (MDRST), or antibiotics resistant E. coli (MDREC). |
