The present invention relates to a petroleum coke powder as an alternative fuel for oil and gas, prepared by collecting a petroleum coke of a by-product generated in a refinery production process, and more particularly, to a petroleum coke powder as an alternative fuel for oil and gas, characterized in that the powder has a particle size of equal to or greater than 100 mesh and has a particle size of 100-200 mesh accounts for 2 to 5 wt% of the petroleum coke powder. According to the present invention, provided is a petroleum coke powder usable with optimum efficiency in an existing combustion system, considering the combustion characteristic of petroleum coke produced as a by-product of a petroleum refining process. |
