<p>This puncture needle (10) is provided with an indwelling needle (15) and an inner needle (20). Said inner needle (20) is provided with a large-diameter needle tube (16) inserted into a cannula (12) provided on the indwelling needle (15). Said needle tube (16) is provided with a small-diameter insertion hole (17) via which a guide wire (40) is inserted from the tip (16a) of the needle tube (16). Said insertion hole (17) is provided with a guide-hole section (17A) that guides the guide wire (40). The tip (16a) of the needle tube (16) is formed from a plurality of tip faces (16b through 16d) so as to exhibit a sharply pointed shape, and the aforementioned insertion hole (17) is located in one of said tip faces (16b). An intravenous line can thus be established safely and accurately using a large-diameter puncture needle (10) in an emergency or the like.</p> |
