The embodiments of the present invention provide a touch control screen unlocking method and module, and a terminal device. The method comprises: setting an unlocking coordinate set and an unlocking area; generating a touch point coordinate; judging whether the unlocking coordinate set comprises the touch point coordinate or not; if it is judged that the unlocking coordinate set comprises the touch point coordinate, generating a touch point area; comparing the touch point area with the unlocking area; and according to the comparison result, unlocking a touch control screen. The technical solution in the embodiments of the present invention can solve the defect of insufficient confidentiality in the existing touch control screen unlocking method, thereby improving the unlocking security, and protecting the personal privacy.
