Provided are: a wound body storage box which is configured so that a hold-down plate for holding down a wound body is prevented by a relatively simple configuration from opening outward; and a wound body-containing storage box. A wound body storage box (1) is provided with: a body section (10) which stores a wound body (91r); a lid section (20) which is pivotally interconnected with the body section (10) through a rear plate end side (18) and which covers an opening face (10h) when closed; a hold-down plate (31) which is interconnected with the body section (10) through a front plate end side (19) and which holds down the wound body (91r) so that the wound body (91r) does not come out of the body section (10) through the opening (10h); hold-down sections (33) which hold down the hold-down plate (31); and stationary sections (38) which are configured integrally with the hold-down sections (33). Thus, the hold-down sections (33) which are affixed to the body section (10) are capable of holding down the hold-down plate (31) in cooperation with the stationary sections (38). A wound body-containing storage box (100) is provided with the wound body storage section (1) and the wound body (91r) which is stored in the body section (10).
