Disclosed in an embodiment of the present invention is a clustering method, comprising: a first device is added to a target small-bandwidth cluster after adjusting the start of the first small-bandwidth beacon transmitting period thereof to be aligned with a selected empty Beacon SP, setting the BI of the first device to be equal to the beacon interval (S-BI) of a synchronization device, and correspondingly adjusting the interval (VBI) for transmitting a beacon frame on a large-bandwidth channel and the interval (SBBI) for transmitting a beacon frame on a small-bandwidth channel; alternatively, the first device transmits a beacon frame containing a cluster detection IE on the large-bandwidth channel, to request synchronization of a PCP on the cluster detection IE so as to return the cluster synchronization information and control information, thus intercepting the cluster synchronization information and control information of a target large-bandwidth cluster, and then the first device is added to the target large-bandwidth cluster according to the information and a second PCP. Also disclosed in the embodiment of the present invention is a clustering device. The present invention clusters a plurality of devices having different bandwidths and different channels, thus reducing interference and realizing coexistence. |
