Antigen binding constructs that bind to 5T4, for example antibodies, including antibody fragments (such as scFv, minibodies, and cys-diabodies) that bind to 5T4, are described herein. Methods of use are described herein. 5T4 is an oncofetal glycoprotein which has weak expression in select adult tissues, but strong expression in various types of carcinomas including colorectal, renal, breast, ovarian, gastric, lung, and prostate cancer. 5T4 expression is found in both primary and metastatic cancers and expression level correlates with progression of the disease making 5T4 a very promising biomarker. |
