The present invention relates to a chemical decontamination device for equipment contaminated by radioactive substances and, more specifically, to a decontamination device for a coolant pump of a Korea nuclear reactor capable of preventing a worker from being exposed to high radiation during replacement or repair work in case of cracks in a shaft, loosening of an impeller, water leakage from a thermal sleeve, damage to a bearing, etc. in a coolant pump in a Korea nuclear reactor. The decontamination device for a coolant pump of a Korea nuclear reactor includes: a pure water tank; a mixer which is connected to the pure water tank through a pipe including a pump and produces decontamination water by mixing pure water supplied from the pure water tank with chemicals; a decontamination tank which is connected to the pure water tank and the mixer through a pipe including a pump and has a storage space with an open top to receive the decontamination water and store process water; a rotation unit which is installed in the upper part of the decontamination tank and rotates a coolant pump of a nuclear reactor; a spray unit which is installed in the decontamination tank and sprays the process water on part of the coolant pump of the nuclear reactor stored in the storage space of the decontamination tank; a cooling unit which is connected to the decontamination tank through a pipe including a transfer pump and restricts the temperature of the process water which is heated due to spraying to a predefined temperature; and a controller which controls the pump, rotation unit, spray unit, and cooling unit. |
