Fluorine-containing nanocomposite particles comprising a condensate of a fluorine-containing alcohol RF-A-OH [I] (RF is a perfluoroalkyl group or a polyfluoroalkyl group having a portion of the fluorine atoms thereof substituted with hydrogen atoms, and A is a C1-6 alkylene group) and alkoxysilane; and fluorine-containing nanocomposite particles comprising a condensate of a fluorine-containing alcohol RF'-A-OH [Ia] or HO-A-RF''-A-OH [Ib] (RF' is a linear or branched perfluoroalkyl group including an O, S, or N atom; RF'' is a linear or branched perfluoroalkylene group including an O, S, or N atom; and A is a C1-6 alkylene group) and alkoxysilane.
