<p>[Problem] To provide a contact pin exhibiting good electrical characteristics and improved reliability. [Solution] A contact pin (1) is provided with a first plunger (10), a second plunger (20), and a coil spring (30) that generates a reactive force in response to the relative displacement of the first and second plungers in the expansion-contraction direction. A sliding member (13) of the first plunger (10) is arranged symmetrically around a shaft center and includes a fanned part (17) that has two side surfaces radiating out from a shaft core. A sliding member (23) of the second plunger (20) is also arranged symmetrically around the shaft center and includes a fanned part (27) that has two side surfaces radiating out from a shaft core. When the sliding members of both plungers are meshed together, the fanned parts of each plunger are positioned alternately in the radial direction. Thus, the contact surface area of both plungers can be widened, and both plungers can be stably positioned around the shaft center.</p> |
