The method involves acquiring a value of physical magnitude representative of temperature of electric component (6) and/or of physical magnitude representative of quantity of heat produced by the component. Swing of the component between active and passive states is detected from the values. A voltage source (10) is controlled to vary a potential difference between electrodes of a condenser (8) from the value to another value in response to the detection of the swing from the passive state toward the active state. An independent claim is also included for an electronic system.
