<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce power consumption in writing.SOLUTION: A semiconductor memory includes a memory string NS in which a selection transistor ST 1, a first memory cell group, a back gate transistor BT, a second memory cell group and a selection transistor ST 2 are connected in series and a controller which controls writing operations of the memory string NS. The controller turns off a transfer gate connected to the second memory cell group via word lines when writing data into the first memory cell group.</p> |
