<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker capable of surely detecting opening/closing of a lid.SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises: a pan; a heat coil and cord heater which are heating means to heat the pan; a main body which houses the pan, the heating coil and the cord heater; a lid body 21 attached in such a manner as to cover the upper part of the pan and be freely opened and closed around a hinge part 28 of the main body; a function for detecting opening/closing of the lid body 21 and switching the warming temperature to keep cooked rice warm from a first warming temperature to a second warming temperature which is higher than the first temperature. The lid opening/closing detection means 300 for detecting opening/closing of the lid body 21 is provided in the lid body 21. Since the lid opening/closing detection means 300 is a photo coupler switch, opening/closing of the lid body 21 can be surely detected.</p> |
